Erica Simoni

Hi there! My name’s Erica.
Starting from now you’ll read on L’Entomofago articles of mine regarding edible insects. I’ll talk about conferences related with “novel food”, people who are involved in, and innovative ideas in several fields such as healthy food, wellbeing, consumer choices and sustainable agriculture. I’d also like share funny pictures with you, which may catch your attention or stimulate your thoughts in such a multisectoral topic.

I’m graduated in Food Science, with a specialization in Gastronomic Science, at the University of Parma (Italy). “Food for the future. Perceptual and behavioural western consumer study related with products containing insect flour” is the title of my thesis.
As you can see, I’m interested in everything which concerns food, nutrition, animals, agri-food economics and world cultures.
